16. Dodge WC51
The WC51 was a 3/4-ton weapons carrier used in World War II. The pickup could be fitted with an M24A1 machine gun mount holding a Browning automatic rifle or machine gun. Several other models were created using the WC51 chassis including ambulances, maintenance vehicles, and reconnaissance vehicles. One variation, the WC52, is identical to the WC51 with the exception of a winch in front.
One of the most famous military cars, the WC was known for its ability to handle muddy roads. Over 100,000 WC51s were produced, and their popularity makes them a popular restoration project for military enthusiasts. WC51 Prices can range from around 5 to 35K.
