22. Kunming Destroyer
In early 2014, China commissioned the Kunming, a guided-missile destroyer with an armament that includes a 130mm gun, anti-ship missiles, long- and medium-range SAM missiles, two 30mm remote-controlled guns, and 8 torpedo tubes.
The lead ship of the new type 052D destroyers, the Kunming is over 500 feet long and can reach speeds of 35 mph. There is speculation that the Kunming and other 052D destroyers are capable of detecting stealth fighter aircraft such as the American F-35 Lightning II.

21. Ultra Heavy Lift Amphibious Connector
If the Ultra Heavy Lift Amphibious Connector looks massive to you, wait until the actual UHAC that’s twice as big as this prototype comes out. The UHAC will replace the Landing Craft Air Cushioned (LCAC), bringing vehicles, troops, and equipment from ship to shore.
The operational UHAC will be able to bring 3 main battle tanks ashore from a range of up to 240 miles. It will be able to travel just over 20 miles per hour on water, an impressive speed considering how big and bulky it is. The 34-foot-heigh watercraft will even be able to traverse sea walls up to 10 feet high.
