We’d all probably agree it’s never a great idea to pull out in front of someone, but pulling out in front of a cement truck has to be near the top of the list of things not to do while driving. You know, right along with littering, texting while driving, and flipping off police officers. There’s probably a lot more items on that list, but we’ll save that for another day…plus, you get the idea.
From our vantage point, we see the driver on the other side of the highway in the turn lane, ready to make a legal u-turn into the lanes of traffic heading in the opposite direction. So far so good, but the driver of the little hatchback clearly makes his move way too soon – as soon as the car pulls out, we hear someone just laying on the horn, and it sounds pretty close. At this point, the car actually brakes after pulling out in front of the cement truck – what the hell? It’s bad enough to cut someone off, but at least hit the gas if you’re going to do it! Don’t just pull out in front of someone, realize you cut them off, and then decide that’s the time to brake. At that point, any chance of avoiding the accident is gone. The cement truck can’t stop in time, and plows right into the back of the car, who clearly caused this accident. Please, don’t drive like this moron when you’re out on the road, and be sure to like and share.
