Motor Trend recently got their hands on a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, and we like what we’re seeing. The new version looks much different than its predecessor (in a good way, we think), and we really dig the upgraded technology in this new model.

Boasting a 6.2L V-8 that puts out 460 HP with 465 lbs-ft of torque, this is a muscle car we would gladly get behind the wheel of. Motor Trend achieved 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, completing the 1/4 mile in 12.2 seconds at 117.3 miles per hour. But aside from all the measurable, we think the important thing is that is just plain looks like fun to drive. It seems to handle extremely well for a sport car, and part of this is due to the technological advances mentioned before.

The new Corvette has 5 driving modes the driver can choose – “Economical”, “Touring”, “Sport”, “Track”, and “Wet Weather”. Each driving mode controls tons of aspects and sub-settings, which allow the car to handle each situation the best it can. We love all the information it keeps up with, too – the all digital center display can be customized to show you exactly the information you want to keep tabs on while driving. It feels like we can’t talk enough about this car – what about you? What do you think? Be sure to like and share our post if you’re a fan of it like we are.
