Nissan Car Driver Learns a Hard Lesson in Patience

Hey, we get it – nobody likes getting stuck on the highway behind an 18-wheeler, and most of us look for the first opportunity to make a pass and get back to open roads. That being said, we’ve never been as desperate as the driver of the car in this video, who found out the hard way that sometimes it’s better to wait for a safer opportunity. At the beginning of the clip, we see the semi in the left lane and what appears to be a Nissan hatchback in the right lane. As the Nissan passes the large truck, the driver of the big rig is clearly attempting to get back to the right lane, probably because he remembered semis don’t belong in the left lane!

As he’s merging into the right lane, a white car approaches, the driver of which was clearly hoping to make the pass around the truck as well. Rather than waiting patiently and allowing the semi to merge, he decides to gun it and try to pass on the right shoulder. Bad move – the car is forced further off the road than the driver probably anticipated, hits a dip, and the last image we get is of the car flying airborne. Something tells us it was a pretty rough landing. Remember kids, pass safely out there on the highways, lest you find yourself stranded on the side of the road. If you enjoyed the video, be sure to like and share.
