Ridiculous Upside-Down Race Car at LeMons

You’re bound to see some crazy stuff at the 24 Hours of LeMons, but this upside down Ford Fiesta/Chevy Camaro mash-up is just about the craziest we’ve seen. The concept behind LeMons is pretty awesome in and of itself – an endurance race for cars that were purchased, fixed up, and track prepped for $500 or less. This makes for some pretty exciting and, often, hilarious racing. Now, back to this car…

This vehicle you’re looking at now is the chassis of a 1990 Ford Fiesta with an upside-down 1999 Chevrolet Camaro body on top, including wheels, tires, and all. How do you even come up with something like this? It seriously looks like your eyes are playing tricks as you watch this creation zip around the track, but we’ve got to give originality points to whoever came up with it. If you’re a car enthusiast with a clunker you could turn into a racer for less than half a grand, and if you live in the New Jersey area, check out the LeMons website for info about future races. Oh, and don’t forget to like and share!
