19. Northrop Grumman B2 Spirit Bomber
The fact that the U.S. Air Force plans to keep the B2 Spirit, also known as the Stealth Bomber, in operation until 2058 shows what an impressive aircraft it is. Though classified as a grey project and not a more secretive black project, production of the B2 Spirit was kept under wraps during the 70s and 80s. The Bomber wasn’t shown publicly until 1998.
Designed to penetrate heavy anti-aircraft defenses, the B2 Spirit Bomber can deploy GPS-guided bombs and thermonuclear bombs. Its impressive specs include a flight ceiling of 50,000 feet, a range of nearly 7,000 miles, and an on-board defense management system.
