Good drivers are always mindful of their surroundings. It doesn’t take long at all for a deer to run out in front of you, or a car to pull into your path, causing the need for split-second decisions and excellent reflexes. We’ve got to say, however, that this is definitely a first. We’ve heard of cows being hit by cars – not sure we’ve ever seen it happen quite like this.
These poor cows are obviously a bit…preoccupied. As the driver approaches the herd, we see quite a few off the left shoulder of the busy street. Then, before the driver really has time to react, two of the bovine creatures come from the right side of the road and into the driver’s path. He slams on the brakes, but it’s too late. He crashes into one of the cows, which obliterates his windshield and probably causes quite a bit of damage to the front end of the vehicle. The cow, surprisingly, gets up and walks away, which we were certainly glad to see.
We don’t speak Russian so well (that means not at all), but the tone of this guy’s voice and expression on his face as he surveys the damage tells us everything we need to know. Let’s hope he has good automobile insurance, and that his policy covers stray cattle. If you agree, and are glad everyone involved is ok, like and share this video.
